A practical table that connects the symptom you can observe to relevant PRM repair-record evidence, a safe first check and the matching diagnostic guide.
How to use the table
The matrix is designed to prevent common diagnostic shortcuts. “Won't charge” does not automatically mean “bad battery.” “Black screen” does not automatically mean “broken LCD.” “Slow computer” does not automatically mean “needs more RAM.”
Each row points you to a guide that starts with the symptom and shows safer checks before a repair is assumed.

The table does not estimate the chance that a symptom has one particular cause. It also does not turn broad PRM repair-record groups into symptom-specific diagnosis rates.
Where the information comes from
Completed repair records remaining after the published exclusions. The categories describe recorded service work and do not prove one universal cause.
How customers described problems before diagnosis. These reports are not confirmed repair findings.
Manufacturer documentation used for safe checks, platform-specific diagnostics and service context.
How to read the table
“Based on a selected sample of real repair records from Phone Repair & More’s internal operational data.”
“These figures describe the distribution of service categories within the selected Phone Repair & More repair-record sample. They are not product-wide failure rates, defect rates, reliability estimates, or probabilities that any laptop or computer model will experience a given problem. The sample consists only of devices that entered PRM’s service workflow and may reflect PRM’s locations, customer mix, services offered, record-keeping practices, and the period analyzed.”
“Appointment data reflects issues customers selected or described before diagnosis. It should not be interpreted as technician-confirmed faults or completed repairs.”

The table connects common symptoms with safer checks without assuming that one symptom proves one failed component.
